    TitanFall Beta

    TitanFall

    Prepare for Titanfall!

Seems like I almost never get into early/closed betas (with the exception of Elder Scrolls Online which I decided I wasn't really interested in), so this has been a real treat. I've only played a few matches, but it's a lot of fun so far. I'm getting the hang of things and the dual Titan/Pilot combat mechanics are very cool. As usually I kinda like being a grunt more then anything.

    Titan

The beta is only running through Feb 19th, so that's a bummer. Might have to get up/leave early the next couple days and squeeze in some mayhem!

Time to work on the KDR!

    Shadow of Mordor

In keeping with my theme of only posting about posters and video games here is perhaps the most promising looking game I've seen in a looong time. From what I understand this is an Alpha build, but it looks pretty well realized to be. I'm sure there is tons more level building and fine-tuning to do. More beholding:

    Currently Playing

    Assassins Creed: Black Flag

I have a sorta love/hate relationship with AC, but I got a Xbox One and this is generally considered the best game for it at the moment. Also looking forward to the Thief reboot.

    and Uncharted 3...

    This week's Poster Acquisitions!

For the week of January 27th, 2014

    Monday

In a rare occurrence I bought something that wasn't a Mondo print, but it's just as good! I sorta just stumbled on this one and this artist. Behold:

    Blade Runner by Paul Shipper

"Do Androids Dream" by Paul Shipper
    18" x 24" Giclee
    Source: Hero Complex Gallery

Paul does some amazing work at paulshipperstudio.com/

    Tuesday

Another small one, and part of Mondos release for this week. One of my all time favorite films. Behold Again:

    Fight Club

"Fight Club" by Delicious Design League (255 qty)
    18" x 24" Screen Print - 3 color
    SOLD OUT

I expect that'll probably to it for this week, unless something truly special turns up on Thursday.

    Kickstarter and Video Games!

This week marks the release of 2 big Kickstarter projects that I backed. Both are incredibly art-centric and have wildly difference styles. These have been a couple of the highest profile Kickstarter projects to date, even more so within the Video Game category. That they both turned out so well is very encouraging.

    Broken Age

    Broken Age

The latest from the guys at Double Fine. I've played through about half of this one so far and completed the Vella part of the game (so far). It's worth noting that this game did get split up, so this is just part one.

    More information here.

    The Banner Saga

    The Banner Saga

I haven't really gotten into this one yet, but the art looks amazing! I'll update with some thoughts once I get a chance to dig into it a little more.

    More information here.

Here's a video that features both these games and another game (that looks incredible) called Nidhogg. Now I just need a wired 360 controller for my PC!
